Open the add to archive dialog
Select your large file(s), right-click, and choose "7-Zip" > "Add to archive...".

Set the volume size
In the "Split to volumes, bytes" field, enter the size for each part. You can type values like "100m" for 100 MB or "650m" for CD-sized volumes.

Choose archive format
Volume splitting works with 7z and ZIP formats. 7z is recommended for better compression.

Create the split archive
Click OK. 7-Zip creates multiple files named .7z.001, .7z.002, etc. All parts must be present to extract.

Extract split archives
To extract, right-click the first volume (.001) and choose "7-Zip" > "Extract Here". 7-Zip automatically combines all volumes.
